Thomas Tudway

Thomas Tudway (d. 1726) was a leading composer in the late seventeenth and early eighteenth centuries. He was organist at King's College, Cambridge and Great St Mary's Cambridge. Had he not offended Queen Anne, it seems likely that he would have become a Composer to the Chapel Royal. His music is at least the equal of his contemporaries.
